The new season of The Chris Gethard show, which moves to TruTV this year, makes its debut on Thursday, August 3 at 11 PM Eastern (10 PM Central). The show will air live, much in the spirit of its original cable access run. The only guests that have been announced so far are The Practical Jokers, but its previous seasons on Fusion had John Hamm, Will Ferrell, Ellie Kemper, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and more, plus lots of musical guests (Downtown Boys, Kool Keith, Beach Slang, They Might Be Giants). If you’re in New York and would like to attend the TGS premiere, you can request tickets through August 1. You can watch a TGS “sizzle reel” which they showed at this year’s Television Critics Association presentation below.

Chris Gethard one-man-show Career Suicide became an HBO special earlier this year.
