In June, hip hop podcaster Taxstone (aka Daryl Campbell) pleaded guilty to weapons charges in relation to the shooting at Irving Plaza during a T.I. show in 2016. Now he has been indicted for the murder of Ronald McPhatter (Troy Ave’s bodyguard), DNAinfo reports.

He has been charged with second degree murder for the shooting of McPhatter, and pleaded not guilty during a hearing on Thursday afternoon. “We intend to fight these charges and he maintains his innocence,” said Taxstone’s lawyer in a statement to Billboard.

Troy Ave, who was shot in the leg during the incident, was also arrested but freed on bail in July, 2016.
