Jawbreaker Don't Break Down

Earlier this year, a new teaser starring Steve Albini came out for the upcoming Jawbreaker documentary Don’t Break Down: A Film About Jawbreaker, and that film now has a release date. It’ll premiere on August 11 at the Alamo Drafthouse Theater in San Francisco. It was directed by Tim Irwin and Keith Schieron. In addition to Steve Albini, it also has interviews with Billie Joe Armstrong, Jessica Hopper, Graham Elliot, Chris Shifflet, Josh Caterer and more. A new official trailer is out now too, and you can watch that below.

As previously mentioned, Jawbreaker are reuniting for their first show in 21 years at Riot Fest, which also has Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Wu-Tang Clan (playing Enter the Wu-Tang [36 Chambers]), Danzig (playing Danzig III: How The Gods Kill), Paramore, Cap’n Jazz, At the Drive-In, Dinosaur Jr (playing You’re Living All Over Me), Built to Spill (playing Keep It Like A Secret), that dog. (playing Retreat from the Sun), and still much more.

It’s Jawbreaker’s only date of 2017, and it’s probably going to stay that way.
